A heart we feel we cannot mend - only to realize that the first heartbreak is never the end.
Sometimes reality comes harshly, tasting stale -
Lingering bitterly.
Love with everything, and give 'til there's nothing.
Someone will always be hurt, angry, or yearning.
They never teach you in grade school the harshest
Of lessons. You may never give up and always try,
But you may never be satisfied.
